In case you’re still in denial that there’s a fourth Jurassic Park film on the way, here’s some casting news to really drive the point home. This movie is happening. And “the kid from Iron Man 3” is going to be in it.
Deadline is reporting that Ty Simpkins has been cast as a lead in “Jurassic World.” Simpkins actually has quite a resume. Aside from IM3, the 12 year old has also appeared in “War of The Worlds,” ” Revolutionary Road,” “Little Children,” “Pride and Glory,” and “Insidious.” If the murmurs are true, he’ll soon be joined in the “Jurassic World” cast by Bryce Dallas Howard and possibly Jake Johnson (New Girl).
“Jurassic World” will be coming your way during the stacked Summer of 2015, and will be directed by Colin Trevorrow- who also co-wrote the script with Derek Connolly after winning the job with his work on “Safety Not Guaranteed.”
