National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) honored influential Latinx talent and executives at the 23rd annual NHMC Impact Awards.

Actress America Ferrera took the Outstanding Series Producers Impact award for her work in Superstore and Gentefied.

“We are baking and serving up a whole bunch of tres leches,” said Ferrera. “We get to do it together, and we get to invite our allies in this industry and audience from every walk of life to cry and celebrate with us.”

Other honorees included actress Isabell Gomez for Outstanding Series Performance Award; actor Jay Hernandez for Outstanding TV Performance Award; Party of Five’s executive producer Amy Lippman for Outstanding TV Impact Award; CEO/chair of Warner Brothers Ann Sarnoff for Visionary Impact Award; CEO/chair of The Garcia Companies Dany Garcia for Outstanding Film Producer Impact Award; CEO Ozzie Areu of Areu Bros. Studios for Trailblazer Impact Award; and Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa for the Outstanding EP Impact Award.

Jacob Vargas (Mayans M.C., Mr. Iglesias) and Justina Machado (One Day At A Time) hosted the event that took place at the Beverly Wilshire last night.
