DUNE: PART TWO (Warner Bros.) | March 1, 2024

For fans of epic tales and those with an appreciation for stunning cinematography, check out DUNE: PART TWO, directed by the award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. KUNG FU PANDA 4 (DreamWorks Animation) | March 8, 2024

This spring, for the first time in almost a decade, comedy icon Jack Black returns to his role as Po, the most unlikely kung fu master in the world, with a new and entertaining chapter full of kicks in the beloved action-comedy franchise from DreamWorks Animation, KUNG FU PANDA 4. After three challenging adventures defeating world-class villains with his unparalleled courage and crazy martial arts skills, Po, the Dragon Warrior (Golden Globe nominee Jack Black), is summoned by destiny to… take a break once and for all. More specifically, he is chosen to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. This poses a couple of obvious problems. Worse yet, there has recently been a sighting of an evil and powerful sorceress, Chameleon (Oscar winner Viola Davis), a small lizard who can transform into any creature, big or small. And Chameleon has her greedy and cunning eyes set on Po’s Staff of Wisdom, which would give her the power to summon back all the villainous masters whom Po has defeated to the spiritual realm. So, Po is going to need help. He finds it (more or less?) in the form of the clever and insightful thief Zhen (Golden Globe winner Awkwafina), a corsac fox who really annoys Po but whose skills prove invaluable. In their quest to protect the Valley of Peace from the reptilian clutches of Chameleon, this quirky and comedic duo will have to work together. In the process, Po will discover that heroes can be found in the most unexpected places.

THE FALL GUY (Universal Pictures) | May 3, 2024

The 80s have proven to be a source of inspiration for a few movies in 2024, as the action romantic comedy THE FALL GUY, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, also seeks to captivate audiences’ hearts this spring. Inspired by the famous TV series of the same name from the ’80s, THE FALL GUY follows Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, a stuntman scarred by battle who, after leaving the industry a year earlier to focus on his physical and mental health, is recruited again when the star of a big-budget film, directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place, Sicario), disappears. While the ruthless producer of the film (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham; Ted Lasso) maneuvers to keep the disappearance of the star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson; Bullet Train) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the most extravagant stunts in the film while trying (with limited success) to win back Jody’s favor. But as the mystery surrounding the missing star deepens, Colt finds himself entangled in a sinister and criminal plot that will take him to the edge of a more dangerous fall than any stunt.

MÚSICA (Amazon/MGM Studios) | 2024

Find the music in your everyday life with the new film MÚSICA. The movie follows Rudy, a young Brazilian-American living with synesthesia, a neurological phenomenon where stimulation of one sense involuntarily triggers an experience in another sense. For Rudy, his synesthesia allows his mind to organize the sounds he hears in his daily life into different rhythms and beats. Haunted by the music in his head, Rudy must confront an uncertain future while balancing love, family, and Brazilian culture in Newark, New Jersey. The film is inspired by the life of Rudy Mancuso, the singer and internet star who also has the same condition and serves as the main protagonist opposite Camila Mendes (Riverdale), who serves as a love interest.
