Rob Zombie’s new film 3 From Hell had a special red carpet screening this past Monday night in Los Angeles. LRM Online was there and had some questions for the film’s stars and other attendees.
LRM Online: What can fans expect from 3 from Hell?
Richard Brake (Winslow Foxworth Coltrane): Expect the unexpected. This movie is very much its own thing. I think it’s going to surprise people.
Bill Moseley (Otis Driftwood): They can expect it to be rough and raw and ragged. There’s a lot of gratuitous violence, which most of us really like.
LRM Online: What are you looking forward to seeing in the movie?
Tiffany Shepis (Actress: Deathcember): Mostly Baby. I want to see how crazy she can get.
Ken Foree (Actor: Dawn of the Dead): I think it’s gonna be gory and scary and frightening. I’m looking forward to that.
LRM Online: How is Rob Zombie as a director?
Jeff Daniel Phillips (Warden Virgil Dallas Harper): He’s my favorite director. We know each other well enough that when he says I know you can do this character, I’m in.
Dee Wallace (Greta): If Rob calls, I’m there. He’s one of the most creative people I’ve ever worked with. He gives his actors so much room to play.
Richard Brake: I love him. I’ve worked with some big names, but he’s my favorite.
Sean Whalen (Actor: The People Under the Stairs): He’s very similar to Wes Craven. They care about acting and want everyone to feel creatively safe.
LRM Online: What’s your favorite Rob Zombie movie?
Tiffany Shepis: Lords of Salem. I just think it’s super original. I like that someone took a risk like that.
Mick Garris (Director: Nightmare Cinema): The Devil’s Rejects is my favorite, and I’m dying to see what he’s done with those characters in an all-new setting.
Sean Whalen: I would say The Devil’s Rejects. I’d never seen anything like that. It was pure exploitation.
