Transient

Marvel’s Ant-Man cast has just added a fresh, new name to it. David Dastmalchian, who played a deranged henchman of The Joker’s in The Dark Knight, has signed on. He joins Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, Patrick Wilson, and more in the heist film- which will now be under the direction of Peyton Reed, since Edgar Wright’s sudden departure several weeks ago.

Dastmalchian played Thomas Schiff in Christopher Nolan’s second Batman film. It was a short, but memorable role.

The actor also appeared recently in Hugh Jackman’s Prisoners.

He joins a growing list of actors who have appeared in both DC and Marvel films, with another recent example being Callan Mulvey who just appeared in Marvel’s hit Captain America: The Winter Soldier and is set to show up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
