A Million Years Later, Locke & Key Finally Gets A Trailer

Locke & Key is a beloved comic from writer Joe Hill (Stephen King’s son) and Gabriel Rodriguez that started publication way back in 2008 and continued through 2013. In the years since then, it’s seemingly gone through endless adaptation discussion. It’s been one of those projects that Hollywood couldn’t seem to pull off or let go of.

It started out as a pilot at FOX back in 2010 before being announced as a film trilogy from Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. It then moved to Hulu, where a pilot was ordered. Finally, it moved over to Netflix, where the streamer re-developed the show, and even there, it replaced Andy Muschietti as director.

Below is the official synopsis for Locke & Key:

“Based on the best-selling graphic novels, Locke & Key follows 3 siblings who, after the murder of their father, move to their ancestral home only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities.”
