Ad Astra Trailer: Brad Pitt’s Sci-Fi Film Has Shades Of Interstellar

While Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar tends to get plenty of hate from the online community, it’s still a movie that put me into an unparalleled existential crisis. With its ambitious scope coupled with its emotional core story, it really made me question my importance in the universe and whether or not anything is worth anything.

We have yet to have another film that acts as a true follow-up in that vein, but with the impending film, Ad Astra, I think we may be getting something that feels a bit akin to what we got from Nolan, only this time it stars Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones.

Check out the trailer:

Below is the official synopsis for Ad Astra:

“Astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of our planet. His journey will uncover secrets that challenge the nature of human existence and our place in the cosmos.”

So, what do you think? Do you get those same Interstellar vibes I do here? Let us know your thoughts down below!
