D23 is on its way to Anaheim, California, and with that in mind, you know there are some big-time announcements, trailers, and reveals headed our way from Disney. While the internet may be abuzz with the disappointing Spider-Man news, we can shift our attention briefly to The Mandalorian, the Star Wars show set to hit Disney+ this November.

Hardcore Star Wars fans already had their first look at the Jon Favreau-executive-produced show at a convention, and maybe even some of you snagged a look at some ill-gotten footage. But today, we bring wonderful tidings.

Buried in a THR article with Jon Favreau is the reveal that the first official trailer for The Mandalorian will hit on Friday, August 23, 2019! That’s right. In a few short days, we’ll be seeing Pedro Pascal in all his anti-hero glory…or at least folks at D23 will. Given how close we are to November, I can only imagine it will be making its way online immediately after, but at the very least, if you’re at D23, you’ll be seeing it for yourself.
