Adan Canto Enjoys The Challenges of The Cleaning Lady S2 | Interview

The actor Adan Canto is one of the protagonists of the Fox hit drama The Cleaning Lady. With 11.9 million pilot viewers it is no surprise for the cast to be back for a second season. Canto returns excited for the challenges and action scenes he didn’t anticipate but was hyped to shoot. 

The Synopsis

THE CLEANING LADY continues to examine the plight of Thony De La Rosa (Oledie Yung, “Gold of Egypt”) as she navigates the criminal underworld to protect her family. Galvanized by the many roadblocks Thony faced while searching for a treatment to save her son, she will utilize her expertise as a doctor to find ways to help her underserved community. However, as Thony continues to entwine her business undertakings with Arman (Adan Canto, “X-Men: Days of Future Past”), she once again crosses the moral line into the dark underbelly of Las Vegas.

Adan Canto’s career in entertainment started in Mexico as a singer. When he decided to pursue music at the age of sixteen. While living in Mexico City he was casted in several commercials. It led to acting and participated in Estado De Gracia. Later he decided to pursue the American audience in 2013 and made his debut in the Fox series The Following. Since then he has maintained busy and is known for projects like Netflix series Designated Survivor, X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Designated Survivor, Netflix hit series Narcos and Bruised with Halle Berry. Earlier this year he was seen in Agent Game starring Mel Gibson and Dermot Mulroney. 

Filmmaking is another passion. His work has been seen in two short films, Before Tomorrow and The Short starring Theo Rossi

He shared he has enjoyed filming the second season much more and as an actor has been challenged with the increased action scenes.
