Time travel is a tricky business. Being able to time travel with your mind is a definite feat.

In a feature directorial debut for Tony Dean Smith, Volition is a time-bending cerebral science-fiction thriller where a man afflicted with clairvoyance tries to change his fate when a series of events leads to a vision of his imminent murder.

The film stars Adrian Glynn McMorran (The Revenant), Magda Apanowicz (You), and Aleks Paunovic (War for the Planet of the Apes). Tony Dean Smith co-wrote the script with brother and producing partner Ryan W. Smith.

LRM Online spoke to the lead actor Adrian Glynn McMorran on a Zoom call last week. We talked about the project, the challenges, and how not to get confused over multiple timelines.

McMorran had small roles in films such as The Revenant, Warcraft, and 50/50. He had a very notable role as Michael Amar/Murmur in CW’s Arrow.

Volition is launching tomorrow on Apple TV, Prime Video, and other digital platforms.
