The latest shark film, The Black Demon comes with a Latin mythology under the direction of the filmmaker Adrian Grünberg. Bringing the question of who is the real water monster.
The Synopsis
Josh Lucas (Ford v Ferrari, Yellowstone) stars in this edge-of-your-seat action thriller from the director of Rambo: Last Blood. Oilman Paul Sturges’ (Lucas) idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when they encounter a ferocious megalodon shark that will stop at nothing to protect its territory. Stranded and under constant attack, Paul and his family must somehow find a way to get his family back to shore alive before it strikes again in this epic battle between humans and nature.

The filmmaker Adrian Grünberg earned his education while attending School of Visual Arts in New York. The rest of his talent was gained while working as an assistant director in hits like Men With Guns, Amores Perros, Frida, Man on Fire, The Notebook, Jarhead and the Netflix Narcos series to name a few. Grünberg made his debut as a director of a full feature with Get The Gringo starring Mel Gibson and Rambo: Last Blood with Sylvester Stallone. He has also collaborated in television series like Aqui en la Tierra and the Netflix hit Luis Miguel: The Series. Currently he is in Mexico filming Bandidos.

I had the opportunity to connect with the Mexican director Adrian Grünberg about The Black Demon. Grünberg spoke about the diverse cast and adding the right bad ass white boy for the film. As well as the search for the right kid actor and creating the main character, the shark. In addition to his opinion on who is the real monster of our time and more!
