Adriana Paz On Her Role In The CBS All Access Series Coyote [Exclusive Interview]

Coyote

Earlier this month on CBS All Access, they released an action-packed series titled, Coyote. This comes from an executive producer of the hit series, Breaking Bad, Michelle MacLaren. We have often seen many reality series on the battle between US customs agents and those trying to smuggle in drugs or even people. The agents have the difficult task of making sure that nothing gets by them regardless of the circumstances.

In Coyote we follow Border Patrol agent Ben Clemens, played by Michael Chiklis. He has been on the force for 32 years and is ready to call it a career. We see that he’s a very much straight by the book no-nonsense kind of guy. He has only one apparent warm spot and that is for his daughter.

Soon after his retirement, he heads down to Mexico to help wrap up the affairs of his deceased former partner. While there he gets wrapped up in helping the young Salvadorean girl that is dating a drug trafficker. She is looking for asylum and protection for her unborn child. This sparks a series of events that have Ben start to question his views of everything he stood for. In all the mess could he really end up working for the very men he swore to take down for so many years?
