According to the latest Barside Buzz, Agatha: Coven of Chaos rumored to show the origin of the Darkhold. This information comes from regular leaker The Watcher, and you can see what they posted on social media below. Check it out.

So far, the Darkhold had been shown to be in the possession of Agatha during the events of WandaVision. However, as we know, Wanda then took the powerfully evil tome and used it to become the antagonist of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As far as we know, the Darkhold was destroyed at the end of that movie. However given the Multiversal nature of the current MCU, who knows if it will return later.
Perhaps we will see how Agatha became influenced by the Darkhold in her earlier life, and there will be a flashback to where the book originally came from? However what will be interesting is to see how the destruction of the Darkhold will affect Agatha going forward. Will Agatha have a change of heart? That seems likely given how the character evolved in the comics. Though, we cannot always look to the comics when it comes to the MCU, so who knows? What I would say though is that it would not be like Marvel to have a villainous character lead a show, so take that as you will.

It is possible that the Darkhold’s power, or that of the book of Ashanti could still be used as a weapon against Kang further down the line. Though, with rumors that Sacha Baron Cohen will play Mephisto in Ironheart, perhaps the Darkhold will remain a sort of side story in this Multiverse Saga? I guess we need to wait and see?
