On a recent appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show (video below) Agatha: House of Harkness star Kathryn Hahn avoids Mephisto questions with skill. Hahn was obviously asked about her newly announced show, Agatha: House of Harkness, and the star revealed that she didn’t even know the name of the show until it was announced.
“I mean, I didn’t even know the title of the show until it was released to the public,” she admitted. “They keep it so tight.”
Hahn then went into politician mode when asked about Mephisto by Barrymore.
“I keep hearing that. I have no idea. That was like a big thing during WandaVision, but I have no…who knows? Anything is probably possible, but I have never heard anything definitive about that at all.”
Hahn deflected a follow-up question about who her own pick for Mephisto would be by giving more information on why it’s so much fun to play Agatha. In other words if there is anything more to say, Hahn isn’t saying it.
Does this confirm Mephisto is coming to the MCU? No, of course it doesn’t, but Hahn is equally smart enough to know she can’t be name drooping actors whether the role is real or not. Silence and political speak is always the order of the day in a Marvel interview. Until after a show or movie comes out, then you can ask the stars honest questions and get honest answers.

Could I see Mephisto in the MCU? Absolutely, at some point. However it’s also just as possible that Marvel Studios doesn’t go anywhere near the character anytime soon. I think we just have to wait and see. However there certainly was some devilish Easter eggs in WandaVision.
