The action-thriller also stars Evangeline Lilly, Mike Colter, and Shea Whigham. Aharon Keshales directed the movie from a script written by Keshales, Kai Mark, and Navot Papushado.

LRM Online’s Gig Patta spoke with director and writer Aharon Keshales. We discussed everything and anything about Jason Sudeikis on this dark role that audiences haven’t seen since the movie Colossal. We talked about the down-on-his-luck character, Jimmy, who suffered from a series of unfortunate events. Also, we looked into the unforgettable one-take camera action scene for the climax that leaves the audience on the edge of their seats.
Aharon Keshales made his directorial debut with the 2010’s horror film Rabies. He followed up with the action-thriller Big Bad Wolves in 2013 and filmed a segment titled F is for Falling as part of the film anthology ABCs of Death 2 in 2014. Currently, he wrote and directed the upcoming historical thriller Once Upon a Time in Palestine, a film with elements of spaghetti westerns, war movies, romantic comedies, and silent movies set in British-ruled Palestine in 1946.
South of Heaven premieres this Friday, October 8, in select theaters and On Demand.
