Today we are sharing a series of Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew Star Wars rumors from the folks over at MSW. The outlet has a good hit rate for Star Wars leaks, though they give away a bit too much for my tastes at times. However this is all very high level rather than getting into the nitty gritty of plots.

These rumors cover Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew and the overall future of this MandoVerse playing out on Disney+. Though I’ll do some speculation on that part.

Ahsoka

First of all they claim that Ahsoka will see us venture into another Galaxy for the first time in the visual medium. Apparently the Force is both viewed and used differently in this Galaxy. The outlet also seems to hint that this could be a place of origin for the Nightsisters of Dathomir and they think Ivanna Sakhno may be playing a Nightsister.

This new Galaxy is where Ezra Bridger and Thrawn ended up post-Rebels finale. Thrawn may be creating a new force for some purpose we don’t yet know. Interestingly MSW is also backing up the claim we made a long time ago that Lars Mikkelsen is indeed playing Grand Admiral Thrawn in live-action. We’ve being waiting to see on this for a while as our initially story also had Mena Massoud as Ezra, and we all know that ended up being wrong. However we’ve never heard anything to indicate Mikkelsen was wrong as well. I hope this is legit as it’s clearly something fans want to see.

They also say, worryingly for me, that The World Between Worlds is a factor in Ahsoka. Eesh, please, no time travel ever again in Star Wars.

Skeleton Crew

According to the outlet this new Galaxy is also where Skeleton Crew will take place. Given that we know much of that story revolves aroond children lost, one wonder if they are lost in this other Galaxy? MSW also heard, but could not confirm that Ahsoka Tano may make an appearance in Skeleton Crew. I do think that seems a hard one to figure out if they are so far away and lost, but who knows? For now though that is unconfirmed even by the source so, salt at the ready.

It would seem that the pieces are being set in all these shows for a dramatic confrontation. Whether that confrontation is an all out attack by Thrawn, or there is an as yet unnamed third threat out there is hard to say. However it seems like we can finally see a sort of trajectory of where some of these stories are headed. Could there be some sort of battle which weakens the Republic enough to allow the First Order to rise? It will be interesting to see where this all leads. Maybe we will start to see the endgame as we get through Mando S3 and Ahsoka next year?
