Ahsoka Episode 3 Runtime Has Now Been Revealed

We had all the other episode runtimes early and now the Ahsoka Episode 6 runtime has been revealed.

We already had the timings for the first two, but now the Ahsoka Episode 3 runtime has been revealed as well. The information here comes form a source who, well, just never gets these wrong, ever. Ahsoka Episodes 1-2 will both drop on 23rd August, and the runtime of both together is rather substantial. However, as you can see below, Episode 3 is a bit shorter.

The Ahsoka finale will air on October 4th, so we know only the first 2 will drop at the same time. Ahsoka is set around the same time frame as The Mandalorian Season 3 according to the producers. However, it will also serve as a sequel to the Rebels animated series. The epilogue of Rebels saw Ahsoka seek out Sabine Wren after the war to go and find Ezra. That search for Ezra will be the main focus of Ahsoka‘s plot it seems. Or, the search for Thrawn, both are kinda the same thing after all.

Some recent TV spots have shown Hayden Christensen flashbacks and we know the actor filmed scenes for Ahsoka. In addition to Ahsoka and Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla and her son Jacen will also return from Rebels, as will her droid Chopper. It is also expected that Zeb will appear, given his live-action debut came on Mando Season 3.

Lars Mikkelsen plays Grand Admiral Thrawn, and though were not sure how much of him we will see, Eman Esfandi plays Ezra.

I will be reviewing Ahsoka in written form on LRM Online. However, Kyle and I will be deep diving into each episode as The Cantina Reviews will also return from it’s recent hiatus.

These days fans ted to obsess over episode lengths as some sign of quality. That can be the case, but that is not a rule, it’s completely subjective the to the episode itself. I’ve seen great shorter episodes of shows. I’ve seen longer episodes that really could have cut out 10 minutes and been better, and I’ve seen shows where it felt too short an basic. It depends on the show.

For now I’m excited for Ahsoka, because I like the story ideas being explored and I enjoyed Rebels. However, like everyone else, we will just have to wait and see come August 23rd. Not long to wait now.

So, the Ahsoka Episode 3 runtime has now been revealed as well. What do you think? Thoughts below as always.
