The Barside Buzz has thrown up some more details on the rumored Mustafar Fight which will happen in Ahsoka. If you recall some of the earliest rumors that came from MSW, it was described that Ahsoka would use the World Between Worlds to view different possible futures. One of which included her fighting against Anakin on Mustafar. The crux of all this is that Ahsoka comes to realize that Anakin’s turn was destined and unchangeable. Thereby, Ahsoka learns to trust in her own destiny.

Now the insider site has some new details on the scene (said to be a small one) and they say Obi-Wan Kenobi is also there. The link to the Making Star Wars show is Here if anyone wants to watch the full video.

“They filmed a sequence where Ahsoka see’s herself on Mustafar fighting Hayden Christensen’s Darth Vader before he’s in the suit. They are new scenes, they had a dummy for a dead Kenobi and they had clothes for a dead Kenobi, they had two ideas there. One is Anakin literally kills Kenobi in that fight where the idea would be Ahsoka and Kenobi confront Darth Vader. Another is he turns into a pile of clothes just like he always did – he becomes one with the Force at that time in the narrative.”

The site went on to say how the pile of clothes option doesn’t make sense to them as an option. I have to say I agree with that, as Obi-Wan never learned that skill until after the events of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. However, as they pointed out, the fact a pile of clothes were shot does not necessarily mean the automatic assumption will be what happens. All they can say is that both versions were shot, one with a dummy and one with clothes.

It is also worth noting that according to MSW initial leak it was a younger actress who played Ahsoka in this sequence. In other words, it’s not Dawson. This makes sense. It would be strange to see Dawson playing the teenage version of Ahsoka from The Clone Wars era.

Something Extra, Maybe?

Here is something I have heard myself through some of our own sources, though it’s not much to add. I’ve heard that a small thing was shot during the filming of Obi-Wan Kenobi intended for Ahsoka. I also heard from (only) one source this was related to Mustafar. Perhaps it’s possible McGregor shot some body scans so that he can be inserted into the footage that was shot specifically for Ahsoka? I can’t unfortunately provide any more clarification either way. Or, sadly, verify the information the way I’d normally like to. Ergo, pinch of salt on this one as wires could have been crossed. The only thing that I could seem to verify was that some footage was shot during Kenobi for Ahsoka.

I was initially worried when we heard TWBW was being used in Ahsoka. However, if things go as MSW claims it will? To be honest I actually like the idea that destiny cannot be changed and is fixed.
