Aladdin Gets Some Gorgeous Character Posters

Whether or not you think the film is warranted, Aladdin has some incredibly gorgeous production design and costumes. Upon seeing even that bad initial teaser trailer, that much was very clear. When being realized in live-action, the colors and stitching inherent in their outfits was a sight to behold, and the characters’ translation to live-action is pretty spot-on with one many of us would expect. But in case that wasn’t clear enough, here are some posters for you.

First up, we have Jafar, his staff, and his parrot Iago. This is our first good look at the staff and Iago, and as expected, they too make the transition pretty well, but I’m very interested to see this Iago talk. Will Smith’s Genie is next, and he continues that Hitch-like attitude, which I’m a fan of. Naomi Scott’s Jasmine is stunning, as we already saw in the trailer, but at her waist, we see her tiger, Rajah. Finally, there’s Aladdin himself, Abu, and the lamp. The sunset-esque colors are most beautiful here than the others, and really gets me hyped for what’s to come.
