All Ahsoka Directors And Their Episodes Revealed In (Leaked?) Press Release

As promised, here is my Ahsoka two part premiere review, and I have to say, so far so good. Stay a while and let's talk.

All of the Ahsoka directors and their relevant episodes have been revealed in what appears to be a leaked press release for the show. I say appears to be leaked, because so far online the only evidence of this press release I can find is from a user on Reddit. A few outlets have run this story, but they all used the Reddit link also. I also checked with my colleagues here at LRM who get the press releases and so far, nada.

Yet, as you can see on the link above, a Reddit user has scanned a copy of a press release, which appears to be 100% legit. It is possible this was due for wide release this week and somehow this user has gotten it a little quicker.

The main piece of new information on this presser is the list of directors for each episode of Ahsoka. There are some stellar names on this list folks, I have to say.

Directors And Episodes

Dave Filoni who is exec producer and the writer of Ahsoka, directed two episodes, listed as 101 and 105. I assume you need no other primer for who Filoni is?

Steph Green directed 102 and 103. Green was the director of The Book of Boba Fett Episode 2. That was one of the good episodes involving the train heist.

Peter Ramsay directed 104. Previously he directed Episode 305 of The Mandalorian.

Jennifer Getzinge directed 106. Getzinge has directed episodes of Mad Men and Westworld to name but a few high profile gigs.

Geeta Vasant Patel directed 107. This one has me buzzing as Patel directed the most acclaimed episode (108) of the first season of House of the Dragon. I have to agree with the critics this was the shows standout episode by a long way. I think I gave it A+ review if memory serves.

Rick Famuyiwa directed 108. Hardly a surprise given how many episodes Fumuyiwa has directed already within this MandoVerse. As you are likely aware Famuyiwa is now an executive producer working with Filoni and Favreau on The Mandalorian.

So we have Filoni, Green, Green, Ramsay, Filoni, Getzinge, Patel, Famuyiwa

The press release had extensive detail on the cast, whom you know by now, and their careers. Also, there are sections on the production, praise for star Rosario Dawson, and a bit about Lightsaber training. Feel free to check the souuce image on the Reddit link above if you want to see the full thing for yourself.

There are also some story details, (not spoilers). Mainly around the theme of master and apprentice which will apparently be key to the story. I’ll cover that in more detail in the next story published on LRM Online. As there are some interesting discussions to be had.

What do you think as the Ahsoka directors and their episodes have been revealed in a leaked press release for the show? More shortly, please leave any thoughts on the directors below.
