The cast of Psych returns to the small screen for the film Psych 3: This Is Gus. This time adding Allen Maldonado to the popular comedy. 

The Synopsis 

In preparation for a shotgun wedding before the birth of Baby Guster, Shawn (James Roday Rodriguez, “Psych”) and Groomzilla Gus (Dulé Hill, “Psych”) go rogue in an attempt to track down Selene’s (Jazmyn Simon, “Ballers”) estranged husband, as Lassiter (Timothy Omundson, “Mission: Impossible III”) grapples with the future of his career.

Allen Maldonado is a Californian of Puerto Rican and African-American descent. He is an actor, writer, producer and entrepreneur. His debut as an actor was in Friday After Next and has been in other films like last year’s Netflix Project Power. Maldonado is also known for his television appearances like the day time favorite The Young and the Restless, The Last O.G., Sneakerheads, Heels, Maya and the Three and the recent Hulu release The Wonder Years

When not acting he works in the music industry as a songwriter and manages Get It Done records. As well as working on Demo Nerds, founded by him. A foundation that offers free acting classes, tools and services at-risk youth and foster kids in the city of Los Angeles.

He shared his excitement about joining this franchise and how it came together for him to work with the hilarious duo. In addition to speaking about some of the scenes and how much of a fan he is of the 80s and upcoming projects.
