Today is Earth Day! The annual event to raise awareness for environmental protection. On this day people are reminded to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Along with volunteering for various events like planting trees or cleaning up trash to help out the environment. One way to do it is through entertainment. Ustwo games has developed a new game titled, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure.

This game available for download on the Apple Arcade, aims to drive awareness around the importance of fixing, cleaning, and healing the natural world. What is even better about its drive for authenticity. In making the game they consulted with several environmental organizations as well as the UN. They have also partnered with climate conservation Ecologi and had pledged to plant 500K trees earlier this year as they hit a download milestone. The goal is to plant one million trees.

From the BAFTA-Award winning studio behind Monument Valley and Assemble with Care comes something entirely new!

Join Alba as she visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island. She is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines, but when she sees an animal in danger, she realises she needs to do something about it!

This is truly a Mediterranean paradise if you ignore all the litter! From the idyllic beaches to the ancient castle overlooking the town a whole island is ready to be explored. With Ines and your grandfather – who is a total bird nerd – by your side, you can start the movement to save the island. Maybe even the world after that.
