According to the latest Barside Buzz, an official trailer for The Acolyte is being prepared, plus the episodes will not be over an hour in length. Formerly we have heard on the Buzz that a trailer was ready and waiting for Disney to push the button. As for the latter rumor, I’m not sure where that originated about hour long episodes?

Well, Cryptic HD says though they don’t know when it is hitting, a trailer is currently being prepared. However, they dispute the claims of hour long episodes. Though not covered completely in the direct post below, the Buzz is that episodes will vary in length very similarly to the likes of Mando and Ahsoka. So we are talking 30-50 minutes.

I have to say, if there’s anyone unofficial to trust with this kind of rumor, it’s Cryptic HD. This source, for this type of leaked information is almost never wrong.

As you will see in the related section above we do have a pencilled in date for The Acolyte for June 5th. That could be changed and has not been officially announced or marketed. However, one would imagine that date will become formalized when the trailer hits.

So far there has been no official footage from The Acolyte released online. There are some unofficial versions of the teaser fans were shown live at conventions, but the quality is not great.

I guess at this point we could expect a trailer to launch anytime within the next weeks to a month? We are in early March so even 4 weeks from now is April and the show is coming June, or close to that June 5th date. I would not be surprised to just see this randomly dropped online. Alternatives are that a trailer coincides with a big piece from one of the trades who got access to stars and BTS a while ago.

Guess we will find out soon enough.
