For Andrea Riseborough and Christopher Abbott, Possessor: Uncut was a no-brainer to be a part of. With a unique sci-fi story, director Brandon Cronenberg presented a visual style that cements his style in the film industry.
The film also stars Rossif Sutherland, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean, and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Here’s the official short synopsis:
From the visionary mind of writer/director Brandon Cronenberg, Possessor is an arresting sci-fi thriller about an elite, corporate assassin Tasya Vos. Using brain-implant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment, Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.
Riseborough portrays Tasya Vos, who inhabits the mind of Colin Tate (Abbott) in a plot to assassinate a corporate head.
