Andrew Garfield. This is the third article this week I have written about Garfield. More specifically, concerning the actor and whether or not he got a call to appear in Spider-Man: Now Way Home.
First, Garfield told MTV‘s Josh Horowitz that he never got a call about No Way Home, and probably would have by this point.

The very next day, Garfield again told ET that he hadn’t received a phone call.

Now, to finish out my week and my Andrew Garfield trilogy of news stories, the actor has back tracked a bit, talking with Access:
#AndrewGarfield on #SpiderMan rumors: "Never say never." pic.twitter.com/uCTale4lma

I’ve heard all the rumors of everything and to be frank, I think it’s a really cool idea. But as a fan, just as a pure fan, it’s a really cool idea. But yeah, as I’ve said previously, it’s not something that… I hate being given the responsibility of disappointing people. It’s not something that I’ve been asked about or anything like that. But you know, never say never.
A denial followed by a “Never say never?” Andrew Garfield, you son of a bitch.
Most people feel he has been lying, so I end this trilogy of articles admitting, maybe we will see him in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Never say never, I guess.
And with that, Nick never wrote an article of Andrew Garfield again. And he lived happily ever after.
