Funimation Reports Significant Outages Last Night: I Need My Dr. STONE Fix!

Funimation & Crunchroll Merger Complete Funimation Content On Crunchyroll

At around 7:30 last night, Funimation had many reports of outages all over North America that lasted hours affecting the big cities the most, of course. The most reported problems were with video streaming at 85% and 11% with the website. The high number of reports didn’t come down until close to 11:00. Many in the comments on Downdetector blamed the update that happened last week.

The Shows Effected

The shows that come out on Thursdays are SD GUNDAM WORLD HEROES, Cells at Work!, and Dr. STONE. SD GUNDAM WORLD HEROES is a returning franchise on its fifth episode, Cells at Work! Is on its second season with 14 episodes in, and Dr. STONE is on its second season with episode 8 coming out dubbed. These are shows with a few episodes in so people are invested.

What I Was Waiting For

With the show I was waiting for, Dr. STONE, the second season is on the Stone Wars. The season is getting near the end and there have been issues on its own because of delays from dubbing scheduling. All of the episodes for the season have been released with the final episode released back on March 25, but I started the show with the dubbed version so I wanted to finish it that way.

Don’t forget. If you have a problem with Funimation, report it at or your favorite similar website. I’m hoping they can fix their outage problems. Funimation has had problems with outages in the recent past.
