The Synopsis
It’s been a year of calm. Homelander’s (Antony Starr, “Outrageous Fortune”) subdued. Butcher (Karl Urban, “Star Trek”) works for the government, supervised by Hughie (Jack Quaid, “The Hunger Games”) of all people. But both men itch to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. So when The Boys learn of a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into the Seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles, “Supernatural”).

Antony Starr made a name for himself in his native New Zealand when he played twins for the comedy/drama Outrageous Fortune series. The actor is known for Without a Paddle. Cinemax hit Banshee, and Wish You Were Here among others. Next Starr will be seen in the Guy Ritchie film, The Interpreter alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

The New Yorker, Erin Moriarity first time acting was while portraying Annie in at a local theater at the age of 11. Her professional role came as a teen on the classic soap opera, One Life to Live for six episodes. A couple of years later she made her debut on the big screen in The Watch playing Vince Vaughn’s daughter. Other projects she is known for include ABC’s Red Widow, Netflix’s Jessica Jones, Blood Father and Captain Fantastic.

I was connected to Antony Starr and Erin Moriarty via Zoom to talk about The Boys season three. Moriarty spoke about her character finding her own for this new season. While Starr shared how much more “Homelander” shows his sensitive side for the new season.
