Hulu’s The Orville: New Horizons | Jessica Szohr and Anne Winters Interview [Exclusive]

The Orville: New Horizons with Anne Winters

For Jessica Szohr and Anne Winters, they feel like part of the sci-fi family of The Orville: New Horizons despite not being part of the inaugural season. Szohr joined the cast as Lt. Talla Keyali, the new security officer, halfway through season two of The Orville—replacing Halston Sage’s Lt. Alara Kitan. As for Winters, she is the navigator Esign Charly Burke after J. Lee’s John LaMarr got promoted to engineering.

Nonetheless, these women had a blast with their new important roles in the dysfunctional sci-fi family.

Along with Szohr and Winters, the returning cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Scott Grimes, Peter Macon, J. Lee, Mark Jackson, and Chad L. Coleman.

Here is the series synopsis:

Seth MacFarlane’s 10-episode space adventure series The Orville returns exclusively as a Hulu original series. Set 400 years in the future, The Orville: New Horizons finds the crew of the U.S.S. Orville continues their mission of exploration, as they navigate both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.
