Well, here is an unexpected perk to being an Amazon Prime member. We’ve known for a good, long while that the latest film in the DC Extended Universe, Aquaman, would be hitting theaters on December 21, 2018, but it looks like that may not actually be the case. Well, it KIND of won’t be the case — at least not for Amazon Prime members.
According to a video on Amazon Prime, Aquaman will be playing in select theaters across the United States on December 15 at 7 p.m., almost a whole week before its official release date. This will be an exclusive perk for Amazon Prime members, who will be able to buy up to 10 tickets from a selection of around 1,000 theaters. Who’d’ve thought these perks would actually extend to theatrical releases?

Below is the official synopsis for Aquaman:
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
