Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom And John Wick 4 Both Begin Filming

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom And John Wick 4

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and John Wick 4 both began filming yesterday. First all let’s discuss Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, the sequel to Aquaman once again directed by James Wan. Wan took to Instagram to show an icy location for ‘Necrus’. We know Necrus is the working title of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. In fact, Necrus may even be the name of that ‘Lost Kingdom’ if the name has anything to do with the DC comics version. Check it out below.

Not only has Aquaman 2 begun, so has John Wick 4. Once again starring Keanu Reeves as the titular character, the sequel began filming yesterday as well.

The John Wick franchise has become more and more popular as time goes on and this (as per the title) will be the fourth movie to focus on the bad-ass assassin dog lover himself. The last we saw of John Wick in the third movie he was alive and under the protection of the Bowery King, who also survived an assassination attempt by the High Table. The Bowery King seems set to use John Wick to go after that High Table. Will John Wick 4 be three end of the franchise, or will we just move into John Wick 5? That remains to be seen.

Both Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and John Wick 4 will be anticipated movies from the geek fan base, both have their followers. So I’m sure there are fans keen to know both these movies got underway finally.

John Wick 4 is currently slated for release in theatres on May 27th, 2022. Whereas Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom isn’t due to hit theatres until 16th December of the same year. To be fair, I’m betting the VFX take far longer to put together on Aquaman.

As always, leave any thoughts below.
