Aquaman Final Trailer: Arthur Curry Is The Protector Of The Deep

Let’s hope you’re a fan of the ocean, because DC’s upcoming superhero film set to hit next month is none other than Aquaman. the film sees Jason Momoa returning to the role he played in Batman v Superman and Justice League, except this time as the lead — and it’s about damn time.

We’ve already had a trailer and extended look at the flick, but I’d argue this new trailer gives us our best look at the movie yet. In it, we actually see Arthur’s goal — to retrieve a special trident and unite the world above and below the sea. It’s also the most visually spectacular, with colors of every kind getting thrown around and some booming badass music highlighting the hero’s journey ready to come.

I’ve always wanted to like this film, but I think this is the first time I’ve been thoroughly convinced. I’m in on this new standalone hero and am ready to see him take on the world.

Below is the official synopsis to Aquaman:

“From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.”
