Tomorrow evening James Wan’s Aquaman will finally officially arrive here in the US even though there have been several preview nights that have let fans see the film early. Also Warner Bros. released the film earlier in several foreign markets in order to beat the rush of end of the year films like Bumblebee and Mary Poppins Returns.

With that said, according to Forbes it’s looking good for the king of Atlantis as Aquaman has officially crossed $300 million at the worldwide box office. Just in China, it has made over $200 million as it looks to take over the number one film Warner Bros. has ever shown there. The current film that will probably be bumped down to number two is Ready Player One which made $218 million earlier this year.

With a strong opening this weekend in North America, it also has the opportunity to be Warner Bros. biggest grossing film domestically and globally. It will need to make over $200 million here in the states to pass A Star Is Born and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald which made over $600 million. As far as the DCEU series of films, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is the highest worldwide grosser with $873.6 million, while Justice League is the lowest with $657.9 million.

Aquaman stars Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm, DOlph Lundren as Nererus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Ludi Lin as Captain Murk and Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry.
