Aquaman Trailer To Hit ‘In The Next Few Days’

The DC Extended Universe continues to be quite the interesting beast. Just yesterday alone we had news regarding former DC Entertainment head Geoff Johns stepping down from that position and writing the forever-impending Green Lantern Corps movie. Then we had a report that lowkey stated that the new Batman film from Matt Reeves would indeed be the filmmaker rebooting the character with a new actor.

Between those things alone (not even to mention all the Joker and Harley Quinn movies floating around in the ether), it’s clear the DCEU is still one of the most interesting franchises out there to follow (though not necessarily for the best reason). Luckily, there has been one solid detail that’s been consistent: Aquaman.

Director James Wan has been attached to it from the very beginning, and its release date has only moved for strategic purposes. But up until now, we’ve seen little from the film, apart from an image or two, and Wan has been teasing it on social media for months now. So where is it? Well, it’s possible we may get it this week.

According to a new report from Variety, the trailer was previewed at CineEurope, and it will be released “in the next few days.” Finally, we’ll have an idea of what to expect, and may even get to see if this looks more like a Wonder Woman or Justice League in terms of quality. As of right now, Wan has a lot of good faith with fans, and thus far, he has yet to direct a dud, so here’s hoping.
