Get on your tin foil hats, because it’s time to speculate when we can expect the first trailer for DC’s next feature, Aquaman.

Studios like Disney and Warner Bros. may deal with accidental info leaks on a near-daily basis, but there’s often that one person who inadvertently leaks things for them. For Marvel Studios, it’s often Mark Ruffalo or Tom Holland, and in this case, we have composer Carlos Villalobos to blame.

The composer recently took to Instagram to show off a photo of the sound booth where he was composing music for the Aquaman teaser. It was an interesting post by itself as is, but the more interesting part of the whole deal is that the post has since been deleted.

Does this mean that the Warner Bros. and DC Films censors have reached him, and are trying all they can to suppress his voice? that very well may be the case. But now that the cat’s out of the bag, and we know that the teaser is at least in the composition stage…when can we expect it?

Sadly, it’s no science, guessing this stuff. Given the number of big-budget properties, it’s hard to know just when studios hope to throw in their marketing. But if I had to guess, it would be at some point early-to-mid next month to coincide with either Tomb Raider or Ready Player One, which are two of the studio’s bigger films.

When do you think we’ll get a teaser for Aquaman? Let us know your thoughts down below!

venom really did lowered the bar, but Aquaman finished production in October, they should have effects work complete enough to have something decent. I still am surprised no one is starting the movie news on this as “James Wan’s upcoming super hero flick.”

Title should read “Aquaman Will Be Getting a Teaser Soon…But Does Anyone Care?”
