Like many great films, they’re adaptations of great novels. Such is the case with Ready Player One. It is considered one of the great American novels in recent history. It was able to capture the essence of what video games meant for a large portion of the population. The Ernest Cline story was brought to life by Steven Spielberg in 2018 to decent reviews and a strong fan base. Of the success of the film the book’s author Ernest Cline has released the synopsis for Ready Player Two, the sequel to the first novel.

I’m in. I mean the synopsis could have been almost anything and I would have given Cline the benefit of the doubt. Mr. Spielberg, let’s go ahead and get out in front of this one so the film can be made as soon as possible.

Ready Player One made me feel like a kid again. It was a film was a retun to form for the legendary director. It had all the qualities of the Spielberg classics from the 1980s. A sense of wonder, adventure, and good old fashioned movie magic. but also had the benefit on modern day CGI.
