ATX TV and HULU Celebrate the ‘90s This Week


The ‘90s was a wonderful decade for the X-generation.

Some of the best sitcoms came from the ‘90s, including Save by the Bell, Dawson’s Creek, The Wonder Years, and even Freaks and Geeks.

In celebration of the ‘90s sitcoms, ATX TV and HULU teamed up to walk down memory lane with some of the favorite celebrity actors of the 1990s. Then the week ends with Soleil Moon Frye’s documentary kid 90 that explores young Hollywood starlets growing up in the 1990s with footage captured by Frye.

The week starts later this evening with Mother Knows Best: A Look at ‘90s event on YouTube.

In this special event, it unites the most iconic television moms of Mary-Margaret Humes (Dawson’s Creek), Belinda Mongomery (Doogie Howser M.D.), JoMarie Payton (Family Matters), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Moesha), Alley Mills (The Wonder Years). The program is moderated by People Magazine’s Breanne Heldman.

It airs this evening on at 5 p.m. PST/7 p.m. CST.

The other event is ‘90s TV Trivia Game Night. The ‘90s fans will enjoy as some of the television personalities play trivia games with fan contestants. There will be appearances by Greg Grunberg (Felicity), David Lascher (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Devon Odessa (My So-Called Life), Wilson Cruz (My So-Called Life), Samm Levine (Freaks and Geeks), Nick Wechsler (Roswell), and many more guests soon to be announced.

The fun game night to be aired live on Wednesday, March 10 at 3 p.m. PST/5 p.m. CST.

ATX TV launches a television festival all year round. They have previously partnered with AMC Networks for The Walking Dead, AcornTV for Slings and Arrows reunion, SundanceNow for Riviera, CBS All Access for That Animal Rescue Show, NBC for This is Us: Behind the Music, to name a few.
