For mystery lovers, the popular show tackled strange crimes, lost love, unexplained historical events, paranormal activities, and more. It even encourages the viewers to provide information and insight to help solve these mysteries.
With murder and mystery podcasts plentiful, Unsolved Mysteries banks on its brand recognition as it tackles more unsolved mysteries of the world.
In a partnership with Cadence13, a premium podcast company, original Unsolved Mysteries creator Cosgrove/Meurer Productions looks to launch a podcast format for Apple, Spotify, radio.com, and other podcast streaming services.
The show introduces a new voice of the series with Steve French, who will guide the listeners in all new cases and stories. French is an American actor, television announcer, and voice-over actor. He did voice-over work for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Match Game, Into the Woods, and several television commercials. Also, he appeared in on-and-off Broadway.
French replaces Robert Stack, who was the face and voice of the Unsolved Mysteries television series until his death in 2002.

Similar to the television format, the podcast explores cases from every angle in its weekly series with each episode focused on one mystery. A with the television series, each episode has a call-to-action directing the listeners to provide clues to unlock the mysteries at its website of www.unsolved.com. Old television episodes are available to watch on the site.
Each week, the series will also feature guests closely associated with the case, including family members, law enforcement, and forensics experts if pertaining to the case.
The podcast will stick to its nostalgic formula that works: the original theme music, a narrator’s guide through the mysteries, and a ton of heartfelt interviews with individuals.
