As confirmed in the last day or so by Kevin Feige, Avengers: Doomsday principal photography begins today, April 28. To mark the occasion, directors the Russos teased a new chair for Victor Von Doom’s on Instagram.
It’s been reported production was underway for weeks and we’ve all seen set photo leaks and actors in and around the studio. However, there is a lot of work goes into being ready to film with costume fittings, makeup tests, and that’s just the basics.
Today therefore, marks the first day they are actually filming scenes for the film with the cast. Just in case anyone doesn’t understand the term principal photography.

As for the Russo’s tease, to save you a click there’s not much to see. It’s a chair similar to that shown to tease the rest of the cast. The chair however had the name Victor Von Doom. Absolutely nothing to get excited over, but of course, many fans will.
Outside of the extensive cast rumors have understand been sparse. Normally once filming begins is when we’ll get the odd leaked shot, or plot rumor. So far the Buzz is that there will be two Avengers teams battling Doom. The New Avengers, aka Thunderbolts and the new Avengers team Sam puts together. We also know who shows up just in time thanks to the Thunderbolts* post credit stinger. That’s all though folks, or shall I say, all the credible rumors in my opinion.
