It’s great news when a fledging, little known motion picture is able to garner enough attention during its theatrical run to receive the accolades it deserves. Usually that translates to high numbers of video and digital sales, which can help elevate a low budget or indie film when its box office numbers weren’t so high…
Who am I kidding? This is Avengers: Endgame we’re talking about here.
Adding to its ever-growing list of records—as well as its checking account—Avengers: Endgame has now achieved the record of being Fandango’s FandangoNOW All-Time Home Presales film. Additionally, 42% of total preorders are for the 4K version of the film alone. Fandango’s Erik Davis had this to say to Deadline regarding the astounding preorder numbers:
“There’s so much going on in Endgame that fans will want to own it at home, especially in the highest definition possible, so they can watch it again and again and catch all the things they missed. It’s an emotional ride and visual feast, and with the new bonus features, Endgame promises to be the most significant home entertainment event of the year.”

This recent accolade adds to the very long list of records and accomplishments Avengers: Endgame has achieved—including recently becoming the All-Time Highest Grossing Film Worldwide, eclipsing Avatar’s ten-year record. It will be interesting to see just how many more records the film can add to its legendary run.
Avengers: Endgame will be available on Fandango’s FandangoNOW video on-demand service at 9pm PT, midnight ET.
