The time is almost upon us. Later on today, several staff members here at LRM Online will be seeing Avengers: Endgame in various press screenings (keep an eye out for our review!), but last night saw the world premiere of the superhero film that will act as the culmination of the MCU so far. In addition to many Hollywood stars and bigwigs, there were some outlets who also managed an invite to the premiere, meaning that the first fans have already seen what the flick has to offer.

But is it anything good? This movie could very well be the biggest movie of all time, but there’s a lot riding on it. Can it successfully cap off 22 films and act as a solid ending to the Infinity Gauntlet storyline it has adapted for the big screen? A lot of us are nervous, but if the buzz online is any indication, we have nothing to worry about. Here are some comments from some folks online, and with the exception of maybe one MILDLY critical comment, they are all pretty glowing.

Man #AvengersEndgame kicked my ass. It was an epic conclusion to 11 years of films. It had laughs, incredible action and absolute emotional rollercoaster. It was the series finale for these cast of characters that I had been hoping for. Congrats to all for pulling off the feat.

So yeah…Get ready to get your asses handed to you. As someone who was moderately more critical of Avengers: Infinity War than a lot of fans, I’m ready for this movie to retroactively make the first one even better — in addition to all the other movies. I’m happy to say that, in spite of some spoilers apparently hitting the web, I have no idea of what to expect and can’t wait to be thrilled alongside tons of other fans this Thursday evening.
