Avengers: Endgame Running Time Is Three Hours On Site

Avengers: Endgame is going to be epic in length. That much is a given. You don’t need to be an expert to know that a film that brings together 21 other movies is going to be kind of a big deal in terms of scope in length. That being said, Marvel Studios has always been pretty good about keeping their movies as short as they can, all while retaining the substance, which has led many to question whether or not a three-hour runtime is possible.

In the past, directors Anthony and Joe Russo have stated that a recent cut of the film was about three hours long, and even stated they don’t expect much time to be cut from it. Marvel Studios is ready for the movie to be as long as it needs to be to tell the story it needs to tell, so we’ve all been waiting for some confirmation. Some folks on Reddit noticed that, at least in one instance, the movie is shown to have a runtime of 180 minutes.

It’s worth noting that this is likely a placeholder time, as in the comments, other runtimes are said to be 140 minutes or so. I’ve looked at some other sites myself, and couldn’t find any listings. So, as it stands, this is far from a confirmation, but with the film just around six weeks from its release, it won’t be much longer until we get a better idea of the movie’s final runtime.
