This is is getting ridiculous. Months ago I declared exactly how Captain America traveled back in time, aged, and returned to his original present to hand Sam Wilson (The Falcon) the shield. His time in the past is spent in an alternate past where no one knows his other self is alive but frozen. Cap ages there doing whatever and then uses the suit and time GPS to return to his prime timeline. It wasn’t hard to follow on April 26th and it shouldn’t be hard to follow now. Except for when the film’s writers say the exact opposite! That gives me angry feelings all over. However, the Russo brothers have, once again, declared this is exactly what happened with Steve Rogers!

Speaking with Fox 5 DC the two filmmakers discussed the re-release of Avengers: Endgame and around the 5:50 mark discuss the Cap thing:
The only part I do not like about this is they’re putting forth the idea Steve would have to pull another heist to get the Pym Particles to return to the prime timeline. He doesn’t. He grabs four particles from Pym’s lab and they are used thusly: two get used bringing Steve and Tony back to the present with the tesseract, one to go return the stones, and one to return with the shield. In addition to the fact he grabs four is the idea he had one in reserve (probably from Pym post Hulk-Snap) to return immediately after returning the Infinity Stones. No matter how you slice it, there is no story about getting Pym Particles in the alternate past to come back.
Let this put to rest all conversations about loopholes surrounding Captain America’s time travel and aging.
