Avengers: Russo Brothers On Whether Or Not They Are Shooting Fake Scenes To Throw Off Fans

In just about 100 days, fans will finally get to see Marvel’s Cinematic Universe come full circle with Avengers: Infinity War. The long-awaited film will end the third phase of Marvel. With 10 years of films riding on this epic adventure, Marvel will do its best to prevent any leaks and spoilers, some suspect they may even go so far as to shoot scenes that aren’t in the movie, to throw anyone with prying eyes of the trail. One half of the directorial team bringing us the landmark film, Anthony Russo, recently appeared on MTV’s Happy Sad Confused podcast:

“We’re too tired to shoot anything that’s not going in the movie.”

Russo pretty much cleared up any speculation on shooting any decoy scenes for the films. Although, this sounds exactly like what someone would say if they WERE shooting decoy scenes. As many of you may know, Game of Thrones is doing something similar for its final season with the show-runners shooting more than one ending for the show.

As someone who has to fight themselves to refrain clicking spoiler links, I am all for this sort or misdirection.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4.
