The Simpsons may have long since been a Fox property, but times have changed, and they have now been enveloped by their Disney overlords as a part of the overall acquisition of 20th Century Fox, and if you thought they wouldn’t be taking advantage of it, you’d be sorely mistaken. When you now have countless I.P. at your disposal, why wouldn’t you take advantage of it?
TVLine is reporting that on February 23, there will be an episode where Bart is mistaken for a terminally-ill kid and, and after seeing the film Vindicator, he decides to use his knowledge of the spoilers as leverage to get what he wants. What’s more is that this episode will feature some big Marvel Studios talent in the form of Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony and Joe Russo and president Kevin Feige.
The Russo Brothers will play two movie execs who will stop at nothing to make sure the spoilers don’t make it out into the world. Additionally, the evil baddie (modeled after Thanos) will be cleverly called Chinnos (because, his chin), and will be played by Kevin Feige.
So, what do you think? Has Disney’s acquisition of Fox allowed The Simpsons to fully take advantage of even more properties? Let us know your thoughts down below!
