Some Barside Buzz this weeks hints that Avengers Vs X-Men could be announced at SDCC next week by Marvel. Earlier today we brought news that the Russos are in talks to direct both Avengers 5 and Secret Wars. With Avengers 5 not currently titled, some fans had wondered whether it would now become Avengers Vs X-Men? Well Alex P from TCC hints strongly we could get an announcement about Avengers vs X-Men at SDCC next week.
As you can see below after one fan said they felt it was too soon for an Avengers vs X-Men movie.

Not exactly a smoking gun and Alex could backtrack on this one if nothing is said at SDCC. However, the suggestion to me and certainly all the other people online discussing Marcel rumors is that this is what Alex is hinting.

It is possible that Marvel could use the old FoX-Men, some of which have already been seen in alt-Universes. We also have more to come when Deadpool & Wolverine hits theatres very soon. They could have a merging of the Universes story that pits both teams against one another to protect their universe.
For now though, let’s pinch of salt this one. It’s true that Avengers 5 could at this point go anywhere. However with only a week to go, we might as well wait for SDCC at this point and see what got announced and what did not. If the Russos are back on board, then both the next two Avengers movies could get a rejig from what they currently are.
