I am more of the mind that less is more especially with the complexity of food and on a totally unrelated subject, film and series trailers. Last week for example F9 released their first full trailer and practically gave away the whole movie and ruined some great moments could have been amazing surprises. The trailer we are looking at here is quiet and awkward and now has me very interested in the series as I want to see more of this as it seems relatable to my teen years of “awkwardness”. The teaser trailer we are talking about is Netflix’s I Am Not Okay With This. Check it out above!

Here is the synopsis for I Am Not Okay With This
I Am Not Okay With This is an irreverent origin story that follows a teenage girl who’s navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her. From director/EP of The End of the F***ing World Jonathan Entwistle and the producers of Stranger Things comes a new series based on the Charles Forsman graphic novel.

This young adult series is going to consist of seven thirty minute episodes and it stars Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Sofia Bryant, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Aidan Wojtak-Hissong and Richard Ellis. Jonathan Entwistle is the co-creator, director and executive producer for the series. Christy Hall is also a co-creator, executive producer and writer for the series. Others serving as executive producers for the series are Shawn Levy, Dan Levine, Dan Cohen and Josh Barry produce for 21 Laps Entertainment.

Probably my favorite part of the trailer was how the window of the car very slowly dropped to reveal a young man who really thought he was being cool. This looks like it has potential to be another hit for Netflix, although it’s a very short series. Will you be checking it out? Let us know in the comment section below!
