Babylon Trailer | The Insanity That Was The Golden Age Of Hollywood

Babylon

Paramount Pictures’ Babylon has released a trailer featuring stars Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. The film comes by Damien Chazelle, writer of films like La La Land and 10 Cloverfield Lane. The film is set in the late 1920s and captures the transition from when films went from silent to ones that talk thanks to the invention of synchronized sound. Pitt plays a star from the silent era, while Robbie is a Roaring ’20s icon. The film shows how the evolving world of Hollywood and the industry affect them.

Here is the trailer for Babylon. Below are also a few character posters that were released:

As you can see the trailer for Babylon looks insane. I am curious to see how the trailer translates to the actual film. Will it feature a kind of fast pace? Or are we just seeing the most intense moments from the film? Regardless the star power alone in this film has my attention.

Executive producers for the film are Michael Beugg, Tobey Maguire, Wyck Godfrey, Helen Estabrook, and Adam Siegel. It is produced by Marc Platt, p.g.a., Matthew Plouffe, p.g.a., and Olivia Hamilton, p.g.a.

Here is the synopsis for Paramount Pictures’ Babylon

From Damien Chazelle, Babylon is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.

Featuring the original music track “Voodoo Mama” from Academy Award-winning composer Justin Hurwitz.

Paramount Pictures’ Babylon will be available only in theaters for a limited release on December 25, 2022. Then in theaters everywhere on January 6, 2023.
