God Of War: Ragnarok Releases New Action-Packed Story Trailer & Special Edition Controller

Wheel of Time and God of War showrunner Rafe Judkins is not worried about the pressures of making both shows at the same time.

We are very close to the release of God of War: Ragnarok on Playstation on November 9. With that in mind, a new story trailer for the video game was released during the State of Play showcase. As well as a brand new blue and white limited edition God of War: Ragnarok-themed DualSense controller.

First, let’s take a look at the action-packed trailer for the game below from Sony.

In God of War: Ragnarok, we are going to continue to dive deeper into the relationship between our beloved Kratos and Atreus. We soon notice that it seems like Atreus is keeping something from Kratos. Despite not knowing exactly what is going on with his son, Kratos continues to follow his path.

A path that is not, by all means, a walk in the park. We see them both having to come face to face with a variety of adversaries along the way. Even one that looks like a giant jellyfish. The battlegrounds seem to range from everything from a forest to maybe a dream world or outer space. Regardless, one thing is for sure Kratos still brings those iconic moves that we all know and love as well as some new ones, the Blades of Chaos will be very busy cutting down adversaries. The trailer wraps up with the highly anticipated match between Kratos and Thor.

The limited edition God of War: Ragnarok controller features a very cool blue and white design that includes a pair of wolves on the touchpad. It is inspired by the Norse world of Midgard. Playstation thought the controller deserved its own trailer. You can check that out below.

The controller can be pre-ordered starting on September 29. God of War: Ragnarok will be coming to PS4 and PS5 on November 9.
