While Marvel’ and Kevin Feige are hoping for some Black Panther Oscars next year, today we get news that Feige himself will be receiving an award from the The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. For his service of warming the hearts nerds everywhere and his contribution to cinema in general, Feige will be receiving the Albert  R. Broccoli Britannia Award for Worldwide Contribution to Entertainment.

Kieran Breen, BAFTA Los Angeles chairman, said the following in a statement:

“Kevin has propelled the Marvel brand to new heights, harnessing the very best international talent, with an unprecedented track record of back-to-back success,”

Feige definitely has a great track record, just look back at this year with the immense financial and critical success of both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War We all love Kevin Feige. The man behind Marvel’s shared universe has brought us nerds much joy over the last decade, and, as far as we know has plans to continue doing so for years to come. Marvel studios had a vision, a wonderful vision, and Feige was integral in it’s execution. It’s hard to imagine the Marvel Cinematic Universe without Feige.
