Batman: The Long Halloween Voice Cast For Part I Announced

The Batman gtakes inspiration from The Long Halloween

Batman: The Long Halloween in my absolute favorite graphic novel. The Dark Knight is loosely based on it in every way that matters. In the end, it’s the story of Batman, Jim Gordon, and Harvey Dent making a promise to fight crime on a rooftop. Like The Dark Knight, there are consequences for all three men.

Just as The Dark Knight Returns received the two-part animated film treatment, so will Batman: The Long Halloween. Today, The Hollywood Reporter revealed the voice cast for the first part. Obviously, most these characters will continue into Part II.

Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) is your new Batman/Bruce Wayne. The late Naya Rivera (Glee) recorded her lines for Catwoman/Selina Kyle before she died last July.

Other main roles include Josh Duhamel as Harvey Dent, Billy Burke as James Gordon, Titus Welliver as Camine Falcone, David Dasmalchian as Calander Man, Troy Baker as Joker, Amy Landecker as Barbara Gordon, Julie Nathanson as Gilda Dent, Jack Quaid as Alberto, Fred Tarasciore as Solomin Grundy, and Alastair Duncan as Alfred.

Frances Callier, Greg Chun, Gary Leroi Gray, and Jim Pirri round out the cast for Batman: The Long Halloween.

Chris Palmer is directing. The script is by Tim Sheridan. The pair also wrote and directed Superman: Man of Tomorrow.
